Honours Supervision Series - Module 5

Enrolling in the Honours Supervision Series will allow you to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality supervision to Honours students. This series of six modules will cover a range of topics, including setting expectations, establishing productive working relationships, managing the research project requirements and milestones through to examination, working with industry partners, and how to effectively communicate with and motivate students and overcome challenges. Additionally, the series will provide you with an opportunity to meet and interact with other academics who are also interested in providing high-quality supervision. Module 5 - Working with industry. This module will help you learn more about how to work with industry/community partners in the process of supervising Honours students. You will get advice on how to manage relationship across the supervisory team, deal with the complexity of the ethics consideration and consider potential IP and authorship emerging from this partnership.
